Portfolio Press Template Installation
I request you to Please Back Up your blogger template and all blogger widgets to your desktop or just copy paste all sidebar widgets codes to notepad and save to your desktop for further use in this template.
1) Header Image And Description:-To change the header image and description.Just go to Blogger Layout > Edit html and find for logo.gif image.Just replace this image with your header image and save it.
Now find for below codes:-

And change the above red text with your blog descrpition.
2) Menu Links:-To Edit the menu links.Just Go To Blogger Edit html.
Just find below codes :-

Very nice template! But I'm having trouble replacing the logo-file. How can I upload my own file? Normally I would use the standard template "Configure header" and upload my logo-file that way. But this doesn't work in your template.

Just upload your logo and get its link and hen chnage it with yours in blogger xml.
How do you upload a logo? Where can you upload it to? Sorry, just learning how to edit.
@beci just find logo.gif in bogger codes and just chnage that mage link with yours for header.
I found the codes in the HTML but don't know how to create a logo so I can replace the Portfolio Press. :) Like I said...learning along the way.
@beci just write text in place of link whatever you want if you dont know how to create logo.Or just open google and search for make logo online free you will get many sites or check this one http://cooltext.com/

I would like to use your Portfolio Press template as my photoblog, since I find it very appropriate for my needs. Beside it looks very good.
I needed to modify it though, the Rss Feed to be positioned in different place (at the bottom in my case, instead of top right) so that I could make room (980px) to a photo to be put in the header.
After the change it works very good in Mozzila or Chrome, but the photo in the header is not displayed properly in IE-8 as
my system runs on Win7 and I use IE-8.

Just use some css like this to adjust it for header mage.

margin-$startSide: auto;
margin-$endSide: auto;
}
Defin margina dn padding properies to adjust it.

Has anyone reported a 'webkit' problem? My sidebar widgets aren't displaying in Opera or Chrome, but they are fine in Firefox.
I am on Ubuntu 8.04, if it makes a difference. I don't know how it looks in Internet Explorer or Safari.
Any ideas what the problem could be?
@mike i think its due to ubunto to others will be appearing right.
the widgets are not working in chrome , on mozilla i can see them all , but in chrome they don't appear. please fix this problem , i relly want this template...

I have Checked This Template In 5 Majors Browsers(Chrome, Firefox, IE, Opera, Safari)
Widgets Are Not Appearing In Chrome And Safari And It Make Some Blank Space In Footer Also(Same Browsers).
So Correct The Problem For Users.

I've done exactly the same tests as 1Templtatesss refers to and experience the same problem. The blank space I could live with but not seeing the archive is a big problem. Please see if you can sort out the problem!
